For years I have wrestled with my tube of cling film. Useful as the stuff is, many a time I’ve given up and reached for the tin foil instead.
I’ve cut my fingers on lose blades that always fell off into the box. The box itself never lasted it’s course always falling apart, leaving the contents rolling about in the bottom of the cupboard.
When I reached for the roll (minus its box) I could never find the end. A bit like finding the end of the Sellotape but with buttery fingers.
So I am delighted to say I have come across a great cling film dispenser, it’s new and it actually works.
I found it at my local Asda and it’s called a Benedetti Cling Film Refillable Dispenser – best of all it only cost £1.95 and comes with a 40m roll (4.9p/mr). The refills cost £1.77 for a 60m roll (2.9p/mr). It says on the box 'International Patent Pending' so I think they know they are onto a good thing.
It’s just a hard plastic dispenser with a hidden blade. Nothing fancy but so easy to use, it’s a joy.
I bought both my daughters one (big spender), and they love theirs too.
