Gardening Tips for March

It may not seem like it but the earth is warming up and the buds are getting fat.  Not to mention lovely clumps of daffodills appearing in at least some parts of the country. 

For vegetable growers it is time to plant early potatoes, shallots and onion sets and for flower growers it is time to plant summer-flowering bulbs.
